On this week’s TCR Express, digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with Journal of Commerce staff writer Russell Hixson about some of his recent stories and upcoming coverage for the next week.
Russell has a story out now about a Quesnel, B.C. contractor who hasn’t been paid for his work in a $13 million public works facility and is taking his story to the press and public. Russell’s also working on an upcoming story about Vancouver long-term care homes built around a neighbourhood model that not only provide increased privacy and convenience for residents but are also measurably better at fighting contagious infections such as COVID-19 and future risks.
We also take a look at our coverage of next week’s Canadian Construction Association conference, which will be the first ever in a virtual format, and make sure to tune into Friday’s crosspod where national managing editor Vince Versace interviews Todd Weyandt of the Bridging the Gap podcast!
You can listen to The Construction Record and TCR Express on the Daily Commercial News and Journal of Commerce websites as well as on , and podcast section and you can hear last week’s TCR Express here. Thanks for listening and we’ll see you next week.
