VRCA announces 2024 Silver Award winners, celebrates outstanding construction

VANCOUVER — The has announced its 2024 VRCA Awards of Excellence Silver Award winners, with Canadian Turner Construction, Bridge Electric and ETRO Construction among the firms coming up big with recognition in multiple categories each.

The awards are presented for outstanding work in construction in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, stated a release.

Three projects for each of 17 categories have been selected as the Silver Award Winner finalists for their use of innovative techniques, new materials, safety records, efforts and successes in the areas of equity, diversity and inclusion, and exceptional project management.

Winners will be celebrated at the VRCA Silver Winner Reception in September and the Awards of Excellence Gala in October. One Silver Award winner from each category will be chosen as the Gold Award winner at the Awards of Excellence Gala on Oct. 24.
