MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Ontario (ACEC-Ontario) has announced the appointment of its 2023-2024 board of directors at its annual general meeting held recently.
The 2023-2024 chair of the board is Don Holland, a water market executive with GHD. Holland has contributed to ACEC-Ontario for 10 years.
“As we continue to execute the 2023-2026 strategic plan, our industry’s immense potential for growth and innovation is evident,” said Holland in a release. “Our responsibility as industry stewards entails proactive advocacy, but it must be complemented by robust engagement.”
The six newly elected board members are Nikos Chalaris, AECOM Canada; Domenica D’Amico, WSP Canada; Matthew Eades, Associated Engineering; Ryan Matthews, J.L. Richards & Associates; Derek Potvin, Robinson Consultants; and Valery Woloshyn, Stantec Consulting.
Returning to the board besides Holland are Karen Freund, Jacobs, past-chair; Mark Tulloch, Tulloch Engineering, chair-elect; Tom Halpenny, H.H. Angus & Associates, chair of the governance committee; Shawn Scott, R.V. Anderson Associates; David Chamberlain, Eramosa Engineering; and Montana Wilson, GRIT Engineering.
