MONTREAL – has won an award for its contribution to the South Shore segment of the (REM) project in Montreal, during the ұԱ𱹲.
It was the only Canadian project to receive an award. It won in the megaproject category.
The event brings together industry professionals and the International to recognize, highlight and reward impactful global infrastructure projects and leaders known for their excellence.
The REM project aimed to modernize transportation between downtown Montreal and the South Shore to meet growing mobility needs with a sustainable and automated system.
CIMA+ thanked CDPQ Infra, its partner Hatch, SETEC Canada, STGM architecture and LEGICO for the collaboration on the project.
“Our collaboration on the REM mobilized more than 250 CIMA+ professionals and implemented innovative management tools,” said Denis Thivierge, president and CEO of CIMA+, in a statement. “The project helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 16,800 tons per year and has generated significant social and economic benefits. This project, which we are proud to have collaborated on, embodies a concrete example of our commitment to building a sustainable world and our tradition of excellence.”
