EDMONTON – Graham Construction has hit a construction milestone in the first phase of its Falcon One tower project in downtown Edmonton.
The project is the first of two phases, with Falcon One, a 30-storey residential tower with 234 units reaching partial occupancy and substantial completion as of Aug. 30.
“Graham is now finalizing the exterior podium cladding and delivering the remaining amenity spaces along with the final 37 residential units, which were excluded from the initial occupancy permit. These units are primarily located on the upper floors and in the area where the material hoist was positioned during construction,” A Graham release said.
Key features of the tower include a five-level underground parkade and a two-storey podium with retail and amenity spaces.
The building is constructed of concrete on a brownfield site, formerly a surface parking lot, the release said.
The building also has a rooftop patio and lounge, 30th floor dog walk, fitness and yoga facilities and a series of meeting rooms and a dedicated workspace.
